We are an independent barbershop in Palmers Green, open seven days a week. No rushing, no upselling, no guesswork: just a proper chat about what you want, a clean cut and a hot-towel finish. You walk out looking like the best version of yourself.
The shop
Brick, walnut and leather.
We built the shop the way we like a barbershop to feel: dark brick, walnut counters, warm light and three solid leather chairs. Nothing flashy, everything built to last.
Regulars know the drill: coffee in hand, game on the screen, ten minutes of good chat. First time in? Grab a seat and we’ll look after you.
How we work
Small details, done right.
Craft
Every cut starts with a consultation and ends with a hot-towel neck finish. Fades are blended by hand, beard lines are set with a straight razor, and we never rush the detail.
Straight talk
If a style won’t work with your hair or your routine, we’ll tell you and suggest one that will. Prices are on the wall and on the site, with no surprises at the till.

Marcus Hale
Owner · Master barber
Marcus opened Onyx after twenty years behind other people’s chairs. A master of the classic scissor cut and the hot-towel shave, he still takes the first appointment every morning.

Senior barber · Fades
Kemal’s skin fades are the reason half our regulars found us. Precise, patient and quick with the clippers, he blends so smoothly you can’t see where one guard ends and the next begins.

Dre Campbell
Barber · Afro hair & designs
Dre specialises in afro and textured hair, sharp line-ups and freehand designs. Laid-back in the chair and meticulous with the detail, he books up fast before the weekend.
Luca Moretti
Barber · Scissor cuts & beards
Luca trained in Milan and brought the scissor work with him: longer styles, textured crops and beards shaped with a straight razor. Easy company, and always on time.
